Hawksbill Mountain Trail
Hawksbill Mountain Trail is a moderate trail with one of the most rewarding views in Linville Gorge. The trail is not hard but it can be very rocky. |
Linville Gorge & Wiseman`s View
For one of the most spectacular vistas, head to Wiseman`s View on the western side of Linville Gorge (looking across to Hawksbill and Table Rock). Located just a few miles from the Linville Falls Pisgah National Forest parking area, there`s an easy 2/10-mile paved trail to the view. |
Julian Price Park
Julian Price Memorial Park is a park of 4,200 acres at the foot of Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina, named in honor of Julian Price. It is at milepost 297 on the Blue Ridge Parkway and directly adjacent to the Moses H. Cone Memorial Park. |
Linn Cove Viaduct
The Linn Cove Viaduct hugs the face of Grandfather Mountain and is recognized internationally as an engineering marvel. This was the last section of the Parkway to be completed and a model of the construction technique highlights a visit to the Linn Cove Visitor Center. |
